SEPTEMBER 3rd - 2:00 A.M.
Erica has been silent for the last few hours. The other two had passed out at some point but she had stayed awake, not being able to sleep, even if she really wanted to. Her body feels weak and so does her mind. She doesn't know how much longer they are going to be held here or what it's going to take to get them out, if they ever get out. She's not sure how much longer she's going to be able to hold on but Boyd tells her everyday that it'll only be a little while longer. That Derek and Isaac will get them out. They were a pack, a pack sticks together. That doesn't reassure her much though, because she and Boyd had left their pack. They had abandoned them when things got heavy and now look what had happened. Karma had gotten them good.
She sits for a little while longer, listening to her companions breathing as they slept, willing her mind to settle down so she could sleep. She realizes though that it's no use and she sighs heavily, turning her head to Boyd. He was right next to her, leaning against the wall, his head slumped to the side a bit. She watches him in the dim light and she knows that she wouldn't want to be in this situation with anyone but him. Yeah, Cora was there too, but she didn't know her, not like she knew Boyd. She bites her bottom lip and then leans closer to him, whispering.
"Boyd..."
Then she nudges him lightly with her elbow, glancing quickly over to Cora, she didn't want to wake the girl up but she didn't want to sit here in silence anymore either so if she did wake up, oh well. She turns back to Boyd and nudges him again.
"Boyd...wake up."

Days and nights were mixing together in their vault. Boyd tried to think he knew just about what time of day it was based on when he most needed sleep, but he didn't really trust it. All there really was to hold on to was the hope that Derek and Isaac, or even Scott, would come for them. But they had left of their own free will, for all he knew they all thought he and Erica had just skipped town. That's not what he told her though, or Cora.
Boyd stayed closer to Erica though. He would try to protect them both if needed, but they didn't know Cora too well yet. At first he had thought that maybe she was sent in to spy on them, to trick something out of them. But they had all been in here so long now, that he didn't think anyone would voluntarily do that. It still made him unsure though, of what this was all about. Why here? Why them?
They had nothing but time to think in there. At least worrying for Erica and Cora, and himself, kept his thoughts from drifting to Alicia. He wondered if he would ever have a day where she wasn't on his mind, where it didn't hurt. Eventually, he always did manage to fall asleep at around the time he thought should be night.
At least, as long as no one woke him. He can hear Erica's whispering voice, at first it mixes with strange dreams that he forgets as soon as his eyes flicker open, before he feels her elbow in his side and her voice now clearer insisting he wake up.
"What?" His eyes fly open suddenly, he's immediately on alert as he looks around the vault. He can't see anything out of the ordinary, just Cora asleep nearby. His eyes turn to Erica, eyebrows raised waiting for an explanation. Then he sighs, shaking his head. "Let me guess, you can't sleep and you're bored?" His voice isn't angry though, he can't really blame her for not wanting to be the only one awake in this place.

Erica stares at him for a moment but then eventually she nods her head and looks down at her fingers, pursing her lips together. She sighs heavily and lets her head lean back against the wall, staring up towards the ceiling. This place was a nightmare. Not only were they hungry all the time they haven't shifted properly since they've been here. It was taking it's toll on Erica, physically and mentally.
"I just don't know how much longer I can take this shit."
She growls out, banging her head back against the metal.
"Do you really think they are going to come looking for us?"
Erica turns her head suddenly so she can look at him again, her voice lowering a little. She tried to believe it when he told her that they would. She quirks an eyebrow up and gives him a serious look.
"And quit lying to me.....tell me how you really feel.."
She looks away from him again, chewing on the inside of her cheek as she rested her head on his shoulder, sighing heavily. If they didn't get out of here soon Erica was going to break. She was going to do something really stupid. She already knew it.

Erica looks weary, and he can see the old her when she lets down her guard around him. The girl she was before the bite. Not that he knew her back then, but he knew of her. It was a small school after all. It was strange that he had never taken much notice of her then, now she was such a big part of his life. Hell, in here she and Cora were pretty much his whole world. He didn't count their captors, not that they dropped in very often.
Erica shows as much frustration as he feels, and Boyd sighs when she asks him if he really thinks anyone will come looking for them. He opens his mouth, about to repeat what he's said before, but she cuts him off before he can, telling him to be honest. He watches her as she turns away from him, glancing towards Cora as Erica puts her head on his shoulder. It seems like the other girl is still sleeping.
"Okay, being real...I don't know. I wanna believe that Derek and Isaac, and maybe even Scott, would at least try to figure out where we went. I mean, by now our parents must have reported us missing, that's gotta put up some red flags." He leans back against the wall again, her hair tickling against his cheek, but he doesn't mind. "And even if they don't...they're keeping us alive for a reason. I don't know what that reason is, and I don't think its gonna be anything good, but...it means we have a shot at getting out of here, alive."

Cora gets woken up by the other two occupants of the vault talking. She doesn't open her eyes though, she stays curled up like she had woken up and listens to the two of them talking. Their voices carry around the closed room, and even if they hadn't, Cora has werewolf hearing so she would hear them anyway if she wanted. She doesn't have a habit of listening in on other people's conversation, but several times they've talked about a Derek, and Cora can't help but think that it's her brother Derek. How many other werewolf Derek's can there be? Even though the though of Derek being an alpha makes her stomach drop a little. That means Laura isn't around anymore.
Slowly she pretends like she wakes, alerting the other two teens in the vault by yawning and stretching.
